Blogging advice has a shelf life. A podcast that was brilliant in 2020 might not have published an episode since. So before I tell you what to listen to, I checked what’s still going.
This list of the best blogging podcasts only includes shows with recent episodes, and it’s matched to what bloggers actually need to learn: blogging, Pinterest, content systems and email. Pick two and ignore the rest.

Why Listen to Blogging Podcasts?
The best podcasts for bloggers turn walks, commutes and chores into learning time.
A podcast doesn’t ask you to sit at a screen, and the best ones add something blog posts can’t: real conversations with people who are still building. The risk is collecting shows you never finish. That’s why this list is short.
The 6 Best Blogging Podcasts at a Glance

1. The Smart Passive Income Podcast
Best for online business, blogging, email marketing and content strategy.
The Smart Passive Income Podcast is now hosted by Liz Wilcox, with Pat Flynn, who created the show, appearing as a guest co-host. Its Apple Podcasts listing says it covers email marketing, content marketing, SEO, niche sites, social media, traffic and creating something without burning out. It’s a good pick if you want one show that touches most parts of an online business.
2. Simple Pin Podcast
Best for Pinterest marketing tips and updates.
The Simple Pin Podcast from Simple Pin Media shares Pinterest marketing tips, platform updates and stories of business owners using the platform. If Pinterest is part of how you’ll get blog traffic, it’s one of the most consistent shows on the subject.

3. Pintastic Pinterest Podcast
Best for search-driven, long-term Pinterest strategy.
Hosted by Laura Rike, the Pintastic Pinterest Podcast focuses on building sustainable, search-driven visibility on Pinterest, including growing email lists and relying less on social media. That sits well with a blog-first approach, because it treats Pinterest as a discovery engine, not a posting treadmill.
4. Thrive: The Podcast for Content Creators
Best for hearing how working bloggers and creators build their businesses.
Thrive, hosted by founder Bree Pair, is aimed at content creators, bloggers and influencers. Bree interviews bloggers, YouTubers and entrepreneurs about strategy, alongside blogging and social media tutorials. The latest episode I could see in its listing was from May, so check recent episodes before you commit. You can find the show on the Thrive website.
5. Marketing School
Best for short, daily marketing and SEO tips.
Marketing School is hosted by Neil Patel and Eric Siu and describes itself as ten minutes of actionable marketing advice every day. It’s broader than blogging, but it’s easy to fit around a busy day, and the topics often touch SEO, content and AI.
6. The Amy Porterfield Show
Best for growing and systemising an online business, including email.
Formerly called Online Marketing Made Easy, The Amy Porterfield Show is a weekly podcast about growing an online business’s revenue, audience and team without relying on more hustle. It’s a good fit once you’re moving from publishing posts to building email and your own offers.

Podcasts I Left Off This List
A few shows that used to be on lists of the best blogging podcasts aren’t current any more.
The ProBlogger Podcast’s last episode on Apple Podcasts is from March 2020, so I haven’t included it, though the archive may still be worth browsing. The Market Your Message Show’s most recent episode was in November 2025, so I couldn’t confirm it’s still publishing. I also couldn’t find a current listing for The Blogging Millionaire Podcast, which was on the old version of this post.
How to Choose the Right Blogging Podcast
- Match it to your next job. Pinterest traffic problem? Start with a Pinterest show. Email list? Start with Amy Porterfield or Smart Passive Income.
- Pick two, not ten. Finishing episodes beats sampling dozens.
- Check the latest episode. A show’s reputation doesn’t tell you if it’s still going.
- Take one action per episode. Write down one thing to try, then try it.
