Grammarly
If you’re not the best when it comes to grammar then Grammarly is the tool for you. It’s a lifesaver for bloggers or writers as Grammarly easily highlights the words you spelled incorrectly. When I start writing blog posts I usually have a rough draft. Words are just flowing out of my fingers… Grammarly allows me to proofread my posts after I’ve done my draft. What’s even great is that Grammarly is a free tool! You can download the chrome and safari extension and it syncs with all your devices!
Canva
Okay, okay I’m slightly obsessed! But, can you blame a girl? There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t find myself using Canva. You’ve heard it all before… Canva is an amazing graphic design tool that allows you to create designs that look like a professional designer has done it for you. Canva also has so many amazing features and done-for-you templates you can use. It’s super easy to use, even if you feel like you a fish out of the water, Canva does have tutorials you can easily follow along with. As any content creator or blogger Canva is a must-have tool!
Google Calendar
Have any sort of calendar is a great way to keep on track with any urgent work that needs to get done. Google Calendar can also be used to block off time to do certain tasks. Doing one similar task at a time allows you to get much more done. What’s great is that google calendar can be used on all IOS and Andriod devices so your calendar is always synced no matter what device you use.
Notion
Having a note-taking app is key to maximize productivity. Whether it’s using it for list taking or blog post writing the one app I find that does it all is Notion! Notion is an intricate app, however, I find that it works insanely well when it comes to creating content. I use it as a content calendar by planning all my content, blog posts, and social media posts. This app is intuitive, at first glance you might find it daunting to navigate. Trust me you’ll thank me later.
Trello
Trello is one of the most popular projects management tools. The Kanban board style in Trello helps me visualize my work and my tasks in progress. It’s easier to maximize workflow and productivity with the boards in Trello.
Trello is available on the web, mobile, and desktop, Thus, making it easy to plan your content from anywhere! You can easily create cards and lists to help organize what needs to be done on a certain task. Trello is also really great if you’re working with a team.
Last Pass
LastPass is one of the most-trusted password managers and free productivity apps. Since we all love free stuff, they offer a free version. Other password managers require you to pay to access your passwords on other devices. With LastPass? It is included in the free plan! LastPass remembers all the passwords which make my online life easier. Logging in is fast and easy once I save my passwords. If you’re like me and always find yourself forgetting your password. This one is a must-have!
Planoly
Planoly has been featured a lot on theblogsocial.com and with reason! This app has saved my bacon so many times and helps me keep on track when it comes to scheduling my Instagram and Pinterest posts. Using the paid version allows you to get unlimited posts on one of the platforms whether you choose Instagram or Pinterest. It allows you to plan your posts and allows you to deliver thought-provoking posts as you have more time to truly think about your caption. You can also opt for the free version which gives you limited posts to schedule. You can also use this on desktop and mobile!
Preview
Preview is another great Instagram scheduler it’s free to use with the option to upgrade to access their other paid features. I mainly use Preview to plan my Reels videos. We all know Instagram is all about the Reels since it’s inception in 2020, this way I can create enough reels for the month without feeling rushed.
So there you have it! These are the must have productivity tools for content creators and bloggers… Well in my opinion! What are the tools you enjoy using from the list above? Let me know in the comments below.
