When forging your brand, your imagery does play a big part. Finding the right photos to enhance your brand has never been more crucial. People are drawn to visual imagery, cue creative stock photography – a way to elevate your brand.
Let’s face it we are all living the fast pace life, and with so much on our plates. It’s hard to make time to take new photos. Taking photos for the blog, Instagram and other social media platforms it all gets exhausting.
Stock photography not only saves us time but enhances my brand, making it more appealing and professional looking. Not everyone has the creative mindset to keep taking unique photos, not to mention the expensive on camera equipment which can cost a fortune!

Here are 5 Creative Ways To Use Stock Photography To Enhance Your Brand

Blog Posts
Alongside a captivating blog post title, the accompanying imagery can draw in a reader. How many times have you clicked on a blog post by seeing the pretty picture that catches your eye as you scroll through social media?
Pinterest Pins
We all know Pinterest is a visual platform. Use stock photos to create “pinnable” posts to accompany your blog posts as a way to share your content. You can create graphics using these images. I use Canva, they have a wide selection of premade templates you can use to fit your brand.
Mailing List
Recently, I have been spending more time building my mailing list, which I have shamefully left on the sidelines. Use stock photography to put together really beautiful mailers to entice your readers to your website. Platforms like Mailchimp is a great starting point and it’s free!
Social Media Covers
It’s important to have a cohesive look across your social media pages. Try sticking to a colour palette for your visitors you recognise your content. A great way of doing that is by using graphics with your beautiful stock images.
Website Header Images
Throughout your website, you will find various pages like your “about me” “contact”. Use the stock photos as banner images making is more visually appealing. I know these pages can be highly neglected, I am guilty of this too!
